Pinnacles Desert Private Tour

Pinnacles Desert, thousands of bizarre limestone formations up to 4 metres high sporadically scattered over the vast yellow, rippled sand dunes, creating a mystical landscape.

A private day tour including unique natural attractions.

The tour is conducted in a modern and spacious people mover for your total comfort.

Pick up at your accommodation at 10:00hrs.

Pinnacles Desert is located at the Nambung National Park, 200 km (124 Miles) North of Perth. It is an easy and pleasant drive, travelling through agricultural areas, cattle farms, and native bushland.

Visit the coastal town of Lancelin for the amazing brilliant white sand dunes. A short drive on the sandy track will lead us right next to the sand dunes where we stop for photos, climb, and walk among these incredible sand dunes. For the most daring and adventurous, I offer the option of experiencing sand boarding (a disclaimer has to be signed for this experience).

We proceed North, to Cervantes, enjoying spectacular views of the Indian Ocean coastline with its glistening turquoise water and more unique native landscape.

Cervantes is a sleepy fishing town where we have a break for lunch at the scenic beach front Lobster Shack Restaurant (own expense), famous for its delicious local fresh Crayfish. Note that there are other options on the menu to satisfy every taste.

Next is the Pinnacles Desert. Brief visit at the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre displaying exhibits on the geology, fauna and flora, history, and cultural heritage of this area. Then we drive along the 4 Km dirt track around the desert. Stop for photos and to explore and wander among the pillars of limestone immersing ourselves at this surreal moonlike landscape. Entry fee to the Pinnacles Desert is included.

Return to Perth at 19:00hrs.
